Discussion

The heavy rain threat will shift to the northeast of here later today, but not before another round of heavy showers and possible thunderstorms messes up the morning commute in the metro region. By later today, the main action will be across New England where heavy rainfall can be expected. On the heels of this vigorous weather system, yet another refreshing air mass for this time of year will push into the Mid-Atlantic region. Skies will overnight in the metro region and the next couple of days will turn out to be spectacular with comfortable temperatures and humidity levels.
